Oracy in the curriculum and how technology can help

ICT brings a lot of opportunities that can be useful to us but it also comes with its own challenges that makes me think of the effects of using ICT. With my experiences with ICT it can make it easier for me to do tasks even after Junior High School. Through these experiences, I learned a lot of things. I learned how to use different techniques and shortcuts for faster usage. And Idiscovered different programs and applications that can be used in different opportunities. As an incoming Senior High School student, I can use my experiences during my classes. It can help me find my interests online or through other tools in ICT.

The challenges brought about by the subject ICT in Junior High School is how the new technologies that are being used affect the generation. If you create a blog, you should already know that it is seen by the public which let them comment their opinions. Though, by their suggestive comments, you can approve this on your own because you know the pros and cons onwards. The ICT integration provided clearer meanings to participants of Grade 10 through the conveyance of nonverbal cues, rapid feedback, personality traits, natural language, etc. that helps when you’re at home and is needed to do a group project.

For me, the real challenge brought about by the subject ICT in the Junior High School is how communication is fast by just the use of social media websites. This is helpful if you need help on specific topics for a subject. And also website must look nice because you want those to get more attention than the less important parts.

This subject introduced me to new topics that I think is useful for my future. This could prepare me for Senior High School which will be much needed for my Grade 11 and 12 years.

My Dream, My Future

Resulta ng larawan para sa ambition
Being a nurse isn't about grades, it's about being who we are. No book can teach you how to cry with a patient. No class can teach you how to tell their family that their parents have died or are dying. No professor can teach you how to find dignity in giving someone a bed bath. A nurse is not about the pills or the charting. It's about being able to love people when they are at their weakest moments.

Many people only imagined of nurses working in a hospital so as to help the critically ill patients. This is however a wrong perception as nurses can work virtually in all setups. They have their duties cut out in almost all aspects of life that many of us can never imagine. It is true that nurses are critically important in the hospitals and that this is the place that they have most of their work in. They however are needed in other sectors and do not only have to work on helping the sick to get well, they can be involved with healthy people to help them to remain healthy. Nurses can work in schools, judiciary, insurance companies, prisons, homes and in corporations. Nurses are involved in all stages of the human life from before birth up to and after death. They help with the pregnant women in the prenatal clinics to make sure that the mother maintains good healthy habits. They offer help during birth and are also involved with the mother and the child during the post natal clinics. During the life time of the child and in adult age one will have several encounters with nurses for both curative and preventive help. Nurses also help people deal with loss after death.

Making the decision to start a career in nursing is not one to go into lightly. People that want to go into nursing need to consider the many pros and con that are associated with nursing. Nursing is a tremendously hard job that is extremely rewarding at times. Many people get caught up in how rewarding this career can be and do not take into account exactly how much work it requires. There is also the impact it has on your personal and family life if you are unable to find the right balance between them.

Foundation Day!!

One of the most anxiously awaited occasions in any school is its annual day. Great excitement and hurried activities are visible all around. The prize-winners and those who are participating in the program activities to be presented on that day are especially elated. Even those who are not actively, involved are excited to have a study-free day in school, filled with fun, frolic and amusement.

The preparations for the annual day begin much ahead of the day itself. The school gets a complete face-lift with all the classrooms thoroughly cleaned and charts on all subjects, carefully made by the students and artistically displayed on the walls. This is done to impress the Chief Guest, other guests and parents. The venue of the function is decorated with Writings, balloons, banners and lights.

Kaugnay na larawan          Another important feature of the preparation is the regular practice session of the field demonstration. Students, participating in the dance, drama and music programs, are called for long rehearsals. Again, those who have stood first in class in academics and various inter-class and inter-school competitions, are made to undergo the actual practice for the day through a mock-session, so that they know how to conduct themselves in the presence of the august audience. The long-awaited day, finally, arrives and everyone seems to be immensely busy and hectic, rushing here and there for one reason or the other. All, including the principal, the teachers and the participants in the cultural programmes seem greatly excited and worried. Those who are supposed to come to the stage tremble in excitement and fear. The rest of the students help to arrange the stage and look forward to a day of fun and frolic.

The last to come is the National Anthem, at the tune of which, all those who are present stand in attention. Then there is a controlled movement towards the exit. Parents wait outside for their children. Those who have won prizes and those who have performed on the stage are lovingly received by their parents. Finally, everybody goes home, bidding adieu to each other.
